Dr. Joshua Wolfram

Dr. Joshua Wolfram graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 2009 and has been in practice in Salem since graduating. Dr. Wolfram is from Eagle River, Alaska where he went to high school. He then obtained his Bachelors degree in Biochemistry from Washington State University in 2006. Throughout Chiropractic College Dr. Wolfram was very involved serving as the president of the Student American Chiropractic Association for the school, which advocates protecting chiropractic patients and their rights. 

He has a strong sports medicine focus, and enjoys working with all levels of athletes, from weekend warriors to high school athletes. Dr. Wolfram specializes in a variety of diversified chiropractic techniques including chiropractic adjusting, low force mobilization, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, kinesiology athletic taping and proper workplace bio-mechanics to maintain proper health.

He maintains an active life in Salem; you can find him running, biking, on the golf course, and spending time with his family.

Dr. Shawn Barnes

Dr. Shawn Barnes earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Master’s in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of Western States in 2013. After high school, Dr. Barnes earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Southern California and then spent some time at the University of Oregon taking pre-med courses.

Dr. Barnes earned the postgraduate designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician ® (CCSP ® ) in the fall of 2016. This training will aid the doctor in the prevention and treatment of athletic injuries by enhancing his diagnostic skills and patient care. Dr. Barnes uses a wide range of treatments including diversified chiropractic adjusting, gentle mobilization, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, and various athletic taping techniques.

Dr. Barnes and his wife love being back in Salem and have enjoyed exploring the city with their two young children.

Dr. Emily Kreifels

Dr. Emily Kreifels is a 2019 graduate of University of Western States where she earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic and Masters of Sports Medicine. She is a Pacific Northwest native, originally from Bremerton, Washington, but moved to Oregon to get her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Linfield College where she ran cross country and track.

A heavy background in sports and athletics has given Dr. Kreifels a passion for helping athletes of all stages, whether they are just starting their health and fitness journey, or they have been active for years. Dr. Kreifels has a wide range of treatment types, including diversified chiropractic adjusting, instrument assisted adjusting, low force mobilization techniques, instrumented assisted soft tissue manipulation, and athletic taping techniques.

When not in the office, Dr. Kreifels is probably out training for the next running race or triathlon, or enjoying all that the Willamette Valley and Oregon have to offer.

Dr. Nathan Furumasu

Dr. Nathan Furumasu worked at Willamette Valley Wellness as a licensed massage therapist for 4 years before returning to school to pursue a career in chiropractic. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Western States with a Doctorate of Chiropractic in 2022.

Dr. Furumasu takes interest in a variety of diversified chiropractic techniques including chiropractic adjusting, low force mobilization, instrument assisted soft tissue manipulation, kinesiology athletic taping.

He has lived all his life in the Pacific Northwest and enjoys golfing in his spare time. Outside of work you can find Dr. Furumasu spending time adventuring with his wife and daughter.

Acupuncture

Daniel Evans LAc, MAOM

Dan Evans LAc, MAOM is an Oregon Medical Board Licensed and NCCAOM credentialed Acupuncturist with 18 years experience using, acupuncture, herbal medicine and nutrition to treat abroad range of health concerns. Dan earned his Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Dan's clinical training includes an externship at Health South Rehabilitation Hospital in Albuquerque New Mexico, where he implemented individualized treatment plans to help patients increase mobility, strength, flexibility and dexterity.

An avid learner and seasoned practitioner, Dan finds great joy in assisting others on their path to personal health, healing and wellness. Dan enjoys sharing his knowledge and expertise with clients to treat underlying imbalances and achieve health goals. His areas of special interest include sports injuries, orthopedic issues, post-operative pain, neurological impairments, women’s health, digestive disorders, emotional health and trauma.

When not in the office Dan enjoys mountain biking, backpacking and spending time with his family.
